About

Bullet for My Valentine is a heavy metal band from Wales. They released their debut album in 2005, though they had originally formed as a band in 1998 under the name of Jeff Killed John and released a number of EPs before their first album. Years later a couple of early tracks were reworked and released under the Bullet for My Valentine name. In their early years, before official singles and album releases, they performed cover versions of popular heavy metal bands such as Metallica and Nirvana, whom they list among their influences along with Iron Maiden and Slayer. The band promoted their first album by taking a tour around the world and subsequently toured to promote each of their albums with lots of tour time in North America, Canada and the US. With a growing fan base they began to be invited to perform at festivals and as their popularity grew they moved up the billing at many prestigious gigs. By 2006 they were headlining at the Kerrang XXV gig at London's Brixton Academy and up to the present day Bullet for My Valentine have continued to tour and perform at music festivals all over the world. Over the years the band have collected an enviable cabinet of awards starting with their Best Newcomer award at the Welsh Music Awards in 2004. They won the Best British Band Award twice at the Metal Hammer Golden God Awards, in 2006 and in 2010. They have been regular award recipients at the Kerrang! Awards including Best British Band three years in a row from 2008 to 2010.

I grew up listening to this band for well over 10 years, and they continue to get better and better. Meeting them made me a bit emotional, and they killed the show! Always will be the band to see for me, and are definitely one I will recommend for anyone.

  • The Best

The absolute best band and best I’ve seen live, in concert. Flying to the UK to see them, next year. They’re that good!

Not a lot of smoke and mirrors for the stage show but the band was phenomenal live!!

  • AMAZING

I have been a long time lover of BFMV, since I was in middle school. When I heard they were finally coming back to the states, I did not hesitate to get tickets. Their show was absolutely amazing and was completely nostalgic since I grew up on them. If you have a chance to see them, please do it because you won’t regret it! I also managed to get a guitar pick from their set! :)

Awesome concert but paying for the early entree pass was a waste. After waiting 4 hours outside I still didn’t get into the venue early as promise or receive any of the free merchandise the ticket purchase said I would receive. Staff took too long to let us in

  • Good bands, warm venue

by trooop on 11/19/23Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoRating: 4 out of 5

The bands were great, played very well. However, the venue climate control could have been managed better. It was warm to hot in the venue from time we entered. The air condition temperature should have been lowered to accommodate the crowd capacity.

  • Tears don't fall, they crash around the moshpit

by Raven on 11/16/23Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Vended was the opener for the event and they did not disappoint. The crowd was amazing from the very beginning to the very end. It was my first time seeing Of Mice & Men and I can finally say I saw them and felt whole. I look forward to the a future tour if they ever go out again. Giving a big shoutout to security for taking care of the crowdsurfing that went on. Also, a HUGE shoutout to the pit/crowd for making the experience 10xs more entertaining. Seeing Bullet for My Valentine after all these yrs was so worth it. I do miss the old font/logo on the merch but merch was still good. Lead singer from Trivium singing the screamo part of Tears Dont Fall was insane. AWESOME SUPRISE GUEST.

  • They still got it!

by PeteM on 11/15/23Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was incredible. Well balanced sound. You could actually hear the vocals unlike most shows. They played super tight. I have been following them for 20 years and that was the best mix that I have heard out of all the shows.

  • One in a Lifetime

If you have not done so already, I'd HIGHLY recommend you to go to a BFMV concert at least once. This is one of the best performances I have seen! You will all surely love it too. (:
