Lady A Concert Schedule

Lady A (formerly known as "Lady Antebellum") became one of the 21st century's most successful trios thanks to a radio-friendly, harmony-laden sound that effortlessly straddles contemporary country and mainstream pop. The Nashville outfit first hit the road supporting the likes of Martina McBride, Jason Aldean, and Kenny Chesney before embarking on their first headline trek, Need You Now, in 2010. They have continued to wow audiences across the globe ever since, including on world tours such as 2014's Take the Night, 2015's Wheels Up and 2017's You Look Good, where they played famed venues such as the Old National Centre in Indianapolis or Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. Packed with flawless vocals, rich three-part harmonies, and a mixture of No. 1 hits and fan favorites, as well as the odd surprise cover, the Lady Alive show is a visually appealing, toe-tapping, feel-good experience from start to finish.

Lady A Background

Lead vocalists Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott and multi-instrumentalist Dave Heywood first came together in Nashville, Tennessee in 2006. Named after the architectural style that originated in the 19th-century Deep South, Lady A (formerly known as "Lady Antebellum") began performing on their local circuit before landing a deal with Capitol Records Nashville in 2007. They first came to national attention later that year with U.S. Country Top 3 single "Love Don't Live Here." Their eponymous debut LP arrived in 2008, kickstarting a run of four consecutive chart-toppers on the U.S. Country Album chart, spawning the first of many No. 1 hits, the Grammy-winning "I Run To You," and landing them Vocal Group of the Year at the ACMs. 2009 sophomore Need You Now took the band's career to another level, reaching the top of the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of nearly half-a-million and producing a No. 2 hit on the U.S. Hot 100 with its title track. Lady A continued to dominate the country-pop scene throughout the following decade, topping the Billboard 200 once more with 2011's Own the Night and 2013's Golden, winning Favorite Country Band, Duo or Group at the American Music Awards three years straight and scoring multiple No. 1 hits, including "American Honey," "Our Kind of Love" and "Just a Kiss." Following 2014's 747, the trio took a hiatus to focus on their respective solo careers. But they picked up where they left off in 2017 with their chart-topping sixth studio effort, Heart Break.

  • Displeased

by Lady L on 6/23/24Stifel Theatre - St. LouisRating: 3 out of 5

I was disappointed that they were on stage for only an hour. I paid $90 for the ticket and drove 200 miles round trip to see them. They talked too much during that short time. I paid to hear them sing not talk about drinking Redbull, etc. When they did sing it was great hearing, though.

  • Lady A concert

by Doglady on 6/18/24North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North CharlestonRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent concert at a very good venue. Never been there before. Small enough to make it feel intimate and right next to an Embassy Suites hotel where you can walk to the event. Unfortunately the hotel is OLD and run down but is supposedly being renovated starting this fall.

  • as expected very well performed

by Anette on 6/18/24Mystic Amphitheater - Prior LakeRating: 4 out of 5

the only reason i'm giving 4 instead of 5 is because none of my biggest favorite songs were played (cold as stone, hello world, golden, all we'd ever need ++. that's just the way it is, but it definitely would have been 5 stars then.

Music was great but did not love the folding chairs. Wished Lady A had played longer than an hour and a half.

We went to hear Girl Named Tom. They were wonderful. The LadyA fans around us were a bit rude however.

by Lady A was awesome. Girl Named Tom was a fabuless opening! on 6/16/24Mystic Amphitheater - Prior LakeRating: 5 out of 5

The show was wonderful. Evening was beautiful. But Mystic Lake was not very helpful when it came to handy cap accessible.Get to the seats with a walker was not easy. A lot of walking just to get into the amphitheater and through security. I would think they can do better. Or choose another venue for your next concert.

  • Lady A Owned the night

by Train on 6/16/24Mystic Amphitheater - Prior LakeRating: 5 out of 5

Beautiful night. Beautiful venue. Lady A was on my to see list. The tickets were an Anniversary gift purchased during Concert week. We had the GA experience. Security was visable making sure aisles were clear. Had a great time. Lady A has alot of hit singles, they also did alot of cover songs. I especially enjoyed the "song writing melody"set. I would definitely go see them again.

  • Top 10 night out

by Live music junky on 6/16/24Mystic Amphitheater - Prior LakeRating: 5 out of 5

Mystic lake has the most well organized operation for their outdoor music venue. We brought my elderly mother and was whisked straight from valet down to amphitheater entrance with little to no waiting. The weather was amazing (obviously that is luck and not something anyone can control) but being an evening after a rainy day there were no bugs to be seen. The opening band was very engaging and Lady A had a great performance we’ve seen them several times in other states and this was our best one. 10 top night all around!

  • Great concert!!! Had so much fun.

by Seeyah on 6/16/24Mystic Amphitheater - Prior LakeRating: 5 out of 5

Concert was awesome! I didn’t even drink; but I was dancing like no one was watching. People probably thought I was drunk. Great fun and great concert! Loved it. Definitely will go again. Weather was also perfect.

  • Lady A Acoustic Show

by Marie on 6/14/24North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North CharlestonRating: 5 out of 5

What a fantastic show. I knew it would be a great acoustic show. Their harmonies are just beautiful. They told stories in between songs. I have seem them with their full band, but honestly, I liked the acoustic show better.

  • What a great evening

by Nancy D on 6/13/24North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North CharlestonRating: 5 out of 5

Lady A was fabulous. I just loved the acoustic format and the casual atmosphere which really lets the beautiful music shine through. The stories they told about their lives and how they wrote the songs just added so much too the concert. The opening acts were also great with the acoustic vibe and set the tone for the rest of the concert.

  • Evening to Remember!

by Bustabox07 on 6/13/24North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North CharlestonRating: 5 out of 5

Lady A brought it all to this small venue. Very intimate concert for a good cause. Vocals were angelic as always. The talent is off the charts with these guys. Always a fav and can’t wait to see them again! It’s a must see event.

  • Waiting for the acoustic album

by JT on 6/13/24North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North CharlestonRating: 5 out of 5

Mid sized venue was perfect for an acoustic show. This really showed how good their voices are. I was impressed with the entire show. Lady A did everything from country to rock to a bit of dance music. The two opening acts were also very good, setting up Lady A perfectly. The only complaint would be the uncomfortable seating.
