These classically-trained musicians have definitely found their groove, and it lies somewhere in between rock and Rachmaninoff. Jon Schmidt (piano), Steven Sharp Nelson (cello) Paul Anderson (production, videography) and Al Van Der Beek (production, songwriting), a.k.a. The Piano Guys, are more than just a musical act, they are a multi-media production team. Through innovative musical composition, cutting-edge technology, and a dash of humor, The Piano Guys produce entertaining videos (oftentimes shot in breathtaking locales) of themselves performing their own rendition of popular songs, classical compositions, movie soundtracks and more—at times enlisting the help of talented guest vocalists. With YouTube as their portal, their videos have received hundreds of millions of views—pretty impressive for a fun-loving crew whose original intent was merely to showcase the instruments for sale at Anderson’s small piano shop. Initially shocked by their overwhelming success, they’re now making the most of their time in the spotlight by embarking on a mission to “make a positive impact in the lives of people all over the world.”  Among their most widely viewed videos is “Cello Wars (Star Wars Parody) Lightsaber Duel,” “Beethoven’s 5 Secrets,” and their covers of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” and Coldplay’s “Paradise.”  When The Piano Guys announced that a LIVE concert tour was in the works, eager fans anticipated the chance to buy tickets to what promises to be a stunning onstage spectacle of sight and sound.

    This concert had to be rescheduled due to bad weather. We were given an option to opt out. No way! We were committed! The opening was hilarious: done in the style of a Marvel movie with our heroes Jon and Steven superimposed as the super heroes. This set up the audience for a night of self deprecation, funny dad jokes and exquisite music. I’ve seen them twice and each show is fresh with new music and themes. We were doubly blessed because the weather delay caused this date to be close to Christmas and we got to hear goosebump causing Christmas music including a beautiful singalong. The message was how much they love their kids and that 2025 would have no concert dates due to a family leave sabbatical. They always put their hearts and souls into an unforgettable concert. Thank you!

    Two very skilled, very personable men! They kept us laughing with life stories and banter and in awe with their amazing skill. They kept it real and emotional. It was a great experience for my dad and me. Would absolutely go see them again!

    Excellent! Venue was beautiful, venue staff were nice and helpful and The Piano Guys were awesome. Such a great event and we hope to see them again in the near future.

    This was the 2nd time I saw them and would go again. I enjoyed the banter between the two musicians...it could have been a little less. I would go see them again.

    I got tickets to this show because my husband is a fan but even he was pleasantly surprised at how great the show was! Musical talent, appreciation for their gifts and sharing stories of everyday life made The Piano Guys a show to remember. We enjoyed every moment and appreciate their transparency about what it is that really makes them a success. Thank you for a wonderful night!

    The Piano Guys put on an amazing, unforgettable show. Their musical talent had the entire theater engaged and smiling. They provide great insight into their journey and lives with witty expression and inspirational feels. You can sense the passion that they put into the music, they truly love what they do. I would 100% see them again and recommend to anyone and everyone!
