Piff the Magic Dragon is the green, red and gold-costumed onstage persona of English magician and comedian John van der Put, who has been entertaining audiences at his headlining solo residency at Flamingo Las Vegas since 2015. During the show, Piff performs staggering stunts and illusions along with his signature deadpan humor, his onstage assistant and real-life wife Jade Simone and “the world’s first magic performing chihuahua” Mr. Piffles. In 2019, Piff was named Best Comedian, Best Magician and Best Headliner at the Best of Las Vegas Awards. Elsewhere, Piff the Magic Dragon has gained international notoriety as an opening act for Mumford & Sons and as a contestant on America's Got Talent and Penn & Teller: Fool Us. He was later crowned the winner of the television competition series Tournament of Laughs in 2020.

The Flamingo Showroom is situated within the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The venue is easily accessible via Interstate 15. Parking is available at Flamingo Las Vegas. Valet and self-parking fees can be viewed here.

You can reach the Flamingo Showroom at Flamingo Las Vegas by city and regional bus. The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) runs the Deuce on The Strip line, a 24-hour bus line that operates between the South Strip Transit Terminal and the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas. The Flamingo Showroom at Flamingo Las Vegas is located off either the Caesars Palace Hotel & Casino or the Las Vegas at Harrahs bus stops.

Have seen Piff on TV and YouTube but to see him do a live performance takes it to another level. If you’re a fan and in the Las Vegas area, Piff the Magic Dragon is a must see! To round out our experience, we even ran into Jimmy with his new family during our visit to the Grand Canyon a couple days later! Awesome show!
I really expected him to be a lot funnier. Based on the America’s got talent videos I really expected him to be funnier. We had a good seats. Magic was fine.

This was my second time seeing Piff at the Flamingo. He is genuine and entertaining. Although the act hasn't changed much - the audience participation makes it fun and unique. It is child friendly - at least 12 and up I would surmise. My only issue was that our seats were in the second row. We were packed in pretty good with the chairs facing straight forward. Because of the way the stage is - with a runway that extends out the middle, there were several times where we had to turn our necks to watch Piff and audience members. Because we were packed in chair to chair, the only real way to see was by twisting the head/neck and not simply turn the chair or whole body. I came away with neck pain. I am sure there are some simple solutions to fix this - especially given the crowd was probably at 60% capacity. If you are looking to attend - sit in the booths are further back.

Laughed straight from my stomach, magic tricks were breathtaking, included the crowd in a few performances. Definitely a must see!

Clever and entertaining. The magic was great and the laughs were constant.
I really enjoyed the show. But I think it’s one of those things you need to know before you go. This isn’t David Copperfield (though David Copperfsh makes an appearance). It’s a comedy show with magic. Comedy that not everyone will appreciate. That said, the show was very good. Tricks were great, audience participation was good. All in all a fun date night!
