Best Concert Ever
by Jas on 9/17/24Kia Forum - InglewoodRating: 5 out of 5OMG, this concert was one that I truly will never forget. I had the privilege of going on September 12th at the Kia Forum. My seats were kind of far as I was in section 205, row 14 but that still did not take away from the experience. I already knew this would be an amazing event from the moment we got to the venue. First off, seeing their opener, Benee, was an experience in itself. She was amazing and so full of energy and her music was awesome. I only knew her from Supalonely but from this concert, I added so many new songs to my playlists. Now on to Wallows... OMG THEY WERE AMAZING. I have been listening to them for about 4 years now and this is the first time I have seen them live and I have been non-stop thinking about them. From the very beginning, you could see it was going to be an amazing show based on how excited they were to be performing at the Forum. They opened with Do Not Wait and the visuals were incredible and the way that they transitioned to Your Apartment, was breathtaking. The rest of the show was incredible with the crowd interactions and the energy they gave. My favorite part though had to be when they played Remember When. This song has helped me through so many tough times and hearing it in person made it a million times better, I was legitimately in tears. They ended the set with I Don't Want to Talk before coming back out for their encore. The encore was 3 songs; Only Ecstasy, Are You Bored Yet?, and ending the entire show with I'm Full. The encore was so magical from the confetti during Only Ecstasy, the crowd singing so loudly during Are You Bored Yet?, and the way they were having so much fun at the very end, was unforgettable. Every day I wish I could go back to the very moment I was in that venue seeing my favorite band, but my favorite people. I am so excited for their next tour, whenever that might be, and if you are thinking about going to future events or even their next couple months out of the US, I promise you you will not regret it and make sure you have the time of your life because you will be thinking about it for the rest of your life, trust me.
