Excellent pianist. It will be nice if he can have the saxophone add on and some singer. It will be more complete concert. Over all he is very good pianist. I was waiting for a mistake but I didn’t find it. 😃

  • Not as advertised ):

    by C. E. on 11/3/22Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 3 out of 5

I saw this advertised on FB and was excited to try something new and different. It was presented as a grand-scale musical concert combined with incredible digital visual creations in the background, on par with some of the high-end, over- the-top productions you might experience in Las Vegas. It was a date-night hopeful. While Havasi and the drummer were talented and dynamic musicians, they played to pre-recorded tracks and there were zero background visuals. Just the two of them on stage. Disappointing.

  • The concert was amazing!!!!

The concert was fantastic. However, we felt very uncomfortable getting to the venue. The streets are no longer safe, and we were so disappointed in that. There was security after the event but prior to the event and at the parking garage would have been much appreciated.

We absolutely loved Havasi’s performance and his playing. Andy was super great as well. I totally recommend him to everyone I know. One little subject I would like to point out.. the show is a little short. I could have listened to him longer.

  • An electrifying experience

A very creative crossover concert pianist- amazing performance with drum accompaniment. He did several solos of compositions he has written- lovely but personally I would have liked more music with drums- which was the best. Also. It would have been nice had their been a live orchestra instead of taped music

  • Great Venue, Talented Artist, But...didn't give enough

by DJ on 11/2/22Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 3 out of 5

The Balboa Theater was really perfect for this show. The sound was great and the original vibe is cook in the theater. The concert was extremely short at 1:15 minutes. The artist was talented and did some very nice songs and the drummer was great too. But it didn't meet the expectations of the videos on Facebook that sold us on the drummer being upside down and playing and I think having a few other instruments such as wind, flute, saxophone, and violin could really improve and diversify the production. It was enjoyable but a bit expensive for the show that was put on compared to other artist. I go to a lot of shows and this one was good but could be better with the talent of these artist and a better production management. And more drums for sure. I think the drummer only played 20 minutes of the show and that wasn't enough in my opinion as that is what brought me to the show. I like the piano and Yanni is one of my favorites, but the drums and putting something together with it is a must. Work on it as it has huge potential but it definitely left short. It seems like all the productions from Europe lately are falling short. Not sure if its pretension, a disconnect, or just not sure, but European and English bands need to bring it with a bit more effort as I think our expectations are jaded by bands like Imagine Dragons, Dave Mathews, Brit Floyd, Jewel, Jason Mraz and so many great American and some Brits like Mumford and Sons and Brit Floyd. Brit Floyd just needs to pick a better venue where you can stand and dance.

  • Amazing, mesmerizing. I didn't want it to end
