About

Few bands in rock music history have reached the level of superstardom (and have maintained the staying power) of Dublin-based band U2. Due to a winning combination of innovative, ever-evolving songwriting, spectacular live shows, and front-man Bono's penchant for political/humanitarian endeavors, U2 have managed to remain an A-list act since emerging onto the music scene with their debut album Boy in 1980. With phenomenal album sales (every album they've released since 1987's The Joshua Tree has hit Billboard's number one spot), a plethora of hit singles ("New Years Day, " "Sunday Bloody Sunday," "Pride," "I Still haven't Found What I'm looking For," "With or Without You," "Mysterious Ways," Beautiful Day," -- and the list goes on) U2 have established themselves as the premier rock band of the 1980s and far beyond. Their sound has evolved from post-punk (guitarist The Edge created a signature sound with his sweeping, delay-heavy guitar work), to arena rock, to blues-inspired rock, to electronic/techno pop and back again. With their 2005 release, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, U2 treat fans to sounds both classic and new-- reminding us exactly why these Dubliners have managed to become one of the most successful bands in rock history.

  • Great show!

    by Scott Z on 5/9/24Sphere - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

This was really a great show! Bono still sounded amazing and the whole band sounded amazing too! The sound quality of this venue was also excellent! I wasn’t able to take in all the visual effects because I’m blind, but my parents did, and they thought it was all really cool, and they described it to me, so I thought it sounded really cool too!

by Zbyszek on 3/18/24Sphere - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

I have never experienced such sensations during a concert in my life. It was worth coming to Las Vegas from distant Poland. I attended the concert twice. My daughter was also at one of the concerts and she was delighted.

  • I went 5 times

    by Chloe M. on 3/15/24Sphere - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

I saw U2 at Sphere 5 times. It never got old. U2 is my #1 favorite band, so I may be a little biased, but the show was only something that can be experienced in person. Plus, they are one of the best live bands.

by Sharon & DC on 3/9/24Sphere - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing experience!! If we did not go on the last night, we would have gone again!! We had great seats in row 107- we saw U2 very well. We did not get the whole effect of the sphere show, but it did not seem like we missed anything. The music was perfect! It was well worth the money, so glad we went:)
