About

Incubus is a band that helped define the sound of a new millennium. That is most evident on Make Yourself (1999), which includes the melodic, turntable-scratching anthem “Pardon Me” and the emotionally evocative “Drive” — the latter marking the band’s biggest Billboard Hot 100 hit. After making their major-label debut with their second album S.C.I.E.N.C.E (1997) and touring for most of 1998 on Ozzfest, the Calabasas, California quintet released their 2001 album Morning View, which attracted a much more diverse audience. That album peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and featured songs like “Wish You Were Here” and “Nice To Know You.” PopMatters remarked that Incubus was one of the first bands on rock radio to “effectively integrate a DJ into their sound.”

  • Always worth it

by Cassie on 9/24/24Chase Center - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

This is either the 4th or 5th time I went to see Incubus live and they never disappoint. They are an excellent live band and they manage to make each show unique from the last. This time they have a new bassist who brings a new vibe to each song. Incubus also did some great covers this time around. I just wish it had been longer!! Looking forward to the next show

  • Beautiful Night of Music and Memories

    by Chloe M. on 9/19/24TD Garden - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

So glad I caught Incubus on this 20th anniversary tour of Morning View. It was more beautiful than I can imagine. The new bassist, Nicole, fits right in and plays all the tracks seamlessly. I didn't get the chance to see the band perform this on the first go around 20 years ago, so I can't compare as to what they sounded like then vs. now. However, I don't think that matter much because they always sound amazing every time I have seen them since 2022. I did the onstage VIP package, so I was close enough to see every pore and scream louder than I should have.

  • Phenomenal!

by Hannah Rou on 9/18/24Ball Arena - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

This was amazing! Brandon Boyd is the same incredible performer he’s been since the early 2000’s when I first started loving the and seeing shows. The band was great, and the new female guitarist was fresh. I was worried at first, but she fit in great and they all had good chemistry. Best part of the show, other than the usuals, were the surprise songs. They performed Rihanna’s Umbrella, Phil Collins, and even Beatles! This was a fun idea I’d love to see done again. Incubus will forever be one of my favs. They never disappoint.

  • Overall a great show!

by soulfugue on 9/18/24Chase Center - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

Incubus sounded incredible, and it was awesome hearing the entire album "Morning View"played in its entirety. I think playing one of the tracks completely acoustic and the insertion of covers messed up the pacing a bit and pulled me out of the atmosphere (almost like I was seeing a completely different band), but it was still a great set. Also, Coheed & Cambria put on an incredible show. I didn't have too much familiarity with their music before the show, but came away with a newfound respect for their music and musicianship. Fantastic!

  • Incubus Meet and greet

by Bj on 9/17/24Chase Center - San FranciscoRating: 2 out of 5

They should disclose what the meet and greet experience is like. We couldn’t hug them or shake their hand. They can’t autograph anything of yours. And you have to sit in front of the table they sit behind to take a picture. It was very strange.

  • Lame

Drove all the way to San Fran to see Incubus and Coheed. Was super excited to see them both, but was let down upon show start. I think my issue was the venue. The acoustics of the Chase Center did not help with either band. The audience was mostly glued to their seats (not much dancing or excitement among the sea of faces). I could have just stayed at home and played their cds while drinking way less expensive alcohol. I will not be returning to Chase Center for any future concerts. It was such a let down. I will not be attending a future Morning View concert as well. For sure will make it a priority to see Coheed in a much better venue and as the headliner.

  • Incubus Concert

by William on 9/15/24Chase Center - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

I've never been to the Chase Arena before and it's very nice, easy to get around. Always an amazing experience to see Incubus live! The put everything into their performance, after all these years Brandon can still hit all the notes as he did 30 years ago.

I’ve seen them live nearly 20 times. They never disappoint. Nicole fit in perfectly on Bass. Hope they keep doing this for many more years to come.
