JERRY SEINFELD ON TOUR:

Whether he's delivering hilarious one-liners from his iconic television series or sharing jokes with fans on stage, Jerry Seinfeld has had audiences cracking up for over 25 years with his legendary sense of humor. An internationally recognized household name for his eponymous '90s sitcom, dubbed by TV Guide as "the greatest television program of all time," Seinfeld is also a brilliant stand-up act, never failing to deliver outrageously comical performances. As one of comedy central's "100 Greatest Standups of All Time," there's little doubt he'll have audiences in stitches with his witty, relatable humor on tour in 2014.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Jerry Seinfeld got his start in 1976 at a local open mic night in New York City, but it wasn't until several early-'80s appearances on the Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson that he reached mainstream recognition. As creator and co-writer of Emmy Award-winning sitcom Seinfeld, he appeared in every episode of the show's nine-season span. Since his days on the show, Seinfeld has launched his own web series titled Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, and put his comedy in writing with the 1993 book Seinlanguage. With more than two decade of stand-up gigs under his belt, Jerry Seinfeld will have fans falling out of their seats in hysterics on his 2014 comedy tour.

  • Typical Jerry

I enjoyed seeing Jerry. His warm up person was hysterical. The entire show was only an hour and fifteen minutes. Jerry was only on for about 40-45 minutes. For the price of tickets, I did expect more.

  • A little short don’t you think?

by DannyF on 12/25/24Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

45 min show for that price was a bit exorbitant when a fair amount of his material was used over past 2 yrs. Little surprised the show was so short but Jerry still has it for sure!

  • Great ambience and connection

  • He still has that magic

by Denise L on 12/24/24Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Saw Jerry open up for Sebastian in October and again on Dec. 21 at the Beacon. He still has the clean, witty, funny sense that we all have come to expect. He delivered an amazing show for us. Merry Christmas to all.

Jerry put on a great show. This is the 1st time I saw him at the Beacon Theater. I’m from LA so I see him whenever he’s in town or in Vegas. He had funny new material mixed with some memorable good stuff. Such a professional. Beacon theater is my favorite thus far. If he’s back there next Christmas, we will be too.

Some funny jokes. Some stale. Too short for the high ticket prices

  • Jerry is The Best!

    by Dare2Dream on 12/24/24Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

No comedian is like Jerry in today's world. We always enjoy him and this most recent show of his we saw, he was even better. than past shows He is still on top of his game, his timing, his expressions and his topics are all comedic gold! Only thing is his show is very short in duration and for the prices charged, he should either have another comedian added as an opener, or better yet, add another half hour to his performance. Still, we love him and The Beacon. Thanks for the laughs, Jerry, and for a great night out!!!

  • A hilarious show

by SherrySS on 12/23/24Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Jerry Seinfeld's show was extremely funny as always. He takes ordinary events and makes you see the absurdity of them. We truly enjoyed him as well as his opening acts. The audience was very responsive and supportive.

  • Laughed for 45 minutes

I am a pretty harsh critic when it comes to stand up comedians. I don't find vulgar humor funny, or goofy humor or forced humor. I was hopeful that at the least, seeing Jerry Seinfeld would be a pleasant evening but it was so much more. I have never laughed so much for a comedian. His humor is a perfect combination of his animated expressions, tone, and relatable life events.Even the encore had me laughing when someone in the audience recommended a Seinfeld show reboot and he said, "that's genius, i've never thought of that!". Would definitely recommend and I would definitely see him again.
