Rodeo
The Rodeo on the last Sat was awesome to see a little bit of every thing Rodeo Competition but the Music Talent was subpar. Also the fairgrounds has changed so much over the years it is hard to find anything worth looking at.
lay lay out of the grounds is not my favorite, but ok. Sat in hndicapied setting. Easy access and plenty of room for a wheelchair.
Our family had a great time with the Star Experience. The food and drink were great and the concert was awesome!
We saw Big n Rich with Gretchen Wilson. Cowboy Troy also came along. We really enjoyed all of the rodeo events. What I like is the large amount of shopping there is to do. All of the animals are fun to see. This is our second year going. It's much more than you would expect. If you ever have the chance you should just go. You'll have a lot of fun. I highly recommend it.
The show was so entertaining…we thoroughly enjoyed preshow and the concert. It was worth every penny.
We go the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo every year! We're always so pleased with the whole experience!! The Rodeo is truly the best and the concerts we attend are always awesome!!! 5 Stars Every time!!

Getting through the actual purchase process was a challenge possibly because I had no preexisting account and had to create one, or that everyone else was also online trying to purchase tickets at the same time. However, the day of the event went very smoothly. From parking, to shuttle to actual admission, everyone did an amazing job. In short was the best rodeo experience I've had!
My family & I enjoyed the rodeo and concert. It’s very crowded, but everyone was friendly. Our only complaint was the seats being so small. My knees hurt afterward. Also, about halfway through the rodeo there was a strong Oder of vomit.
This is a fast moving, entertaining and great venue for a rodeo. The committee and employees are helpful, knowledgeable as well as very polite. We opted for the fan experience option and were not disappointed. We had great seats and good meal and seats for the Clint Black Concert on the dirt 15 ‘ from the stage. We have been to many Rodeo’s over the years and rank this as # 1 in our opinion. The entire Stock Show was great as well as interesting and well organized. A Class Act. We will return.
First Rodeo…first trip to Texas…it was our Grandma/Granddaughter trip. So much fun all the way around! Seeing the Rodeo events in person was just amazing. My granddaughter loved every minute of it and then to finish off with a Charley Crockett live concert…A-1+++!
We went to the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo twice this year and with fantastic weather and the usual fantastic rodeo show and concert line-ups we had expected big crowds and a bumper event. Although the rodeo was polished as ever, the crowds seemed smaller and the exhibitions and market place decidedly fewer than in previous years. This reduced the carnival atmosphere in the outside areas although on semi-final night the funfair was pretty busy and we still found lots to watch and enjoy over several hours pre-rodeo. It remains a brilliantly organised, quality show with terrific athletes and impressive livestock. The ticket prices remain very good value and we will be back again next year to do it all over again. Nothing like it in the UK and well worth our annual trip to Texas!
This is a great event for families as well as individuals. Very entertaining for people of all ages
My brother was in town from California, and I told him I was taking him to the Rodeo to see Styx. NOW I didn't mention he was going to have the watch the Rodeo first. So, it was indeed his first Rodeo! If you have not used the shuttle service, then well, Bless your heart. But that makes going to the Rodeo so EASY! Now, where they got that little guy that jumped over the bull? THAT was new!!! As always, a GREAT Rodeo and show! My Brother was so impressed he said even if Styx wasn't the chaser, he had a blast watching the Rodeo! Also... he commented about a dozen times HOW NICE Rodeo folks are! Yep, Yep, we are!
Nothing beats a great rodeo show and a great country show right after. This will be something my family and I will enjoy every year and we thank San Antonio for having such an event. The fair food is amazing and love all the animals and friendly staff.

Had been to the Rodeo fairgrounds several times during the years, but never to the actual Rodeo. It took Styx to lure me inside! Had a great time watching to the Rodeo and then the concert. An awesome evening! Hope to return next next year.
Myself, wife and friend saw the extreme bull riding and saw Randy Rogers from the dirt level and had a great time.
You just can’t go wrong going to the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. If you have children, the fair and livestock areas are great. The rodeo is very entertaining and worth the watch. You can also indulge in the “Carnival food” that you just don’t get anywhere else. As an added bonus, if you purchase a ticket on a concert date, you get to see the entertainment after the rodeo. The rotating stage in the middle of the arena really adds to the experience
