St. Louis Blues History

Named for the famous W.C. Handy song "Saint Louis Blues," the Blues is one of the most storied franchises in the NHL. They entered the league in 1967, making the Stanley Cup Finals in each of their first three seasons. They reached the Playoffs in 25 consecutive seasons from 1980 to 2005, including in 1999-2000, when right wing Pavol Demitra and defensemen Al MacInnis led the way to a league-best 114 points, only to be upset by the San Jose Sharks in the first round of the Playoffs.

Recent history has provided its share of fireworks. Most memorable: Troy Brouwer's deciding goal in Game 7 of the 2016 Western Conference quarterfinals against the rival Blackhawks, which sent the Blues to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in 15 years.

In 2018-2019, the Blues went on an impressive Playoff run to meet the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup Final, where St. Louis won in seven games for the team's first Cup in franchise history.

Enterprise Center is located in the heart of downtown St. Louis. The 12-story glass and concrete structure officially opened its doors on October 8, 1994, and has been the home ice for the Blues ever since. In 2018, the venue underwent renovations, including additions to the food and beverage options, new gathering spaces for fans to enjoy during pregame, intermissions and postgame, and a better shopping experience for fans to take home all their new Blues gear. Enterprise Center is located on the former site of Kiel Auditorium, which was built in 1932 as a municipal auditorium for the citizens of St. Louis.

  • Miss the old ways

by Farmwife on 1/1/25Enterprise Center - Saint LouisRating: 3 out of 5

First, I HATE that you can't get a "REAL"ticket and can't use cash at the venue. Because of this, I attend fewer hockey games and other events. Tickets have gotten outrageous and any momentum in the game is lost with changing of lines and commercial breaks. Give me "old"school hockey!!

  • Blues games are SO much fun!

by Stephanie Y on 12/20/24Enterprise Center - Saint LouisRating: 5 out of 5

We took our 11 ye old son & 13 yr old daughter to their first game and they loved it! I forgot it was bobblehead night so that was an added bonus. We always have the best experience and all the staff is always so friendly around the stadium!

  • Great time

by Bones on 12/15/24Rating: 5 out of 5

Went in Oct, had great time The Arena has been redone and is looking and great along with the fan experience it;s an outstanding night of fun. Buy your tickets on the secondary market and your pay a lot less. Blues are playing a lot better but you know whenever you go to a sporting event that your team may lose, so just go and have fun yourself.

  • Save your money

by Should’ve Known better on 11/12/24Enterprise Center - Saint LouisRating: 1 out of 5

Team isn’t competitive, prices haven’t lowered to reflect the on ice product. Save the $400-$600 and make a quality memory.

  • Seating

by Doug on 11/8/24Enterprise Center - Saint LouisRating: 2 out of 5

The game was good but the seating was not. When we purchased the tickets (9 rows up from visitors bench they didn’t say our seats were right behind the team entrance and I’m 6’4 size 15 shoe and there was zero leg room or foot room in the 4 seats behind that entrance. Was very uncomfortable for the 3 hours we were there for the $150+ we paid for each ticket

  • Always Fun

The game day experience is always a positive one. Great for the family and tons of energy and interactive content. I’m a die hard fan so I always enjoy the game but my daughters (12 and 9) love it too and look forward to going every year!

  • Amazing Experience

    by Jules1922 on 10/25/24Enterprise Center - Saint LouisRating: 5 out of 5

I had an amazing time at the St. Louis Blues game last Tuesday! The atmosphere in the arena was electric, with energy radiating from the fans that made the experience truly unforgettable. One of the highlights was receiving a fantastic jersey hoodie as we entered the game, which added a nice touch to the evening and made me feel even more connected to the team. As for the game itself, it was very good! The Blues played exceptionally well, showcasing their talent and determination. Every goal was met with cheers and excitement, making it a thrilling experience from start to finish. Overall, it was a fantastic night filled with great hockey, wonderful company, and a sense of community among fellow fans. I can't wait for the next game!

  • Work on concessions.

by Erik on 10/18/24Enterprise Center - Saint LouisRating: 3 out of 5

Seating is good, but they need to work on the concessions. When they changed them they did not think about how it would effect the lines. I could not get food because the lines were so long and not moving that I would have missed some of the game.

  • Handicapped seating

by Jmac on 10/7/24Rating: 2 out of 5

Would be nice if they show handicapped seats available.
