About

Theory of a Deadman is the first Canadian rock band to sign with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger’s 604 Records. Since releasing their self-titled debut in 2002, Theory of a Deadman has blazed their own path with multiple-platinum albums in Canada, and 2008’s Scars & Souvenirs became one of their bestselling albums worldwide when it reached No. 26 on the Billboard 200 chart. Known for their rock anthems and introspective ballads, Theory of a Deadman have found success in Canada and abroad with chart-topping singles like “Bad Girlfriend,” “Rx (Medicate),” “Lowlife” and “History of Violence” — all of them topping Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. The Canadian rockers have toured worldwide with bands like Nickelback, Mötley Crüe, Bush, Shinedown and Skillet.

  • My first unplugged concert

by TKO on 11/26/24The Astro Theater - La VistaRating: 5 out of 5

It was a very chill environment with gret entertainment. The only 2 problems that I had was you couldn't get up to thr front row unless you had front row seats and I really thought that the meet and greet experience would of been for a longer time so we could of actually had a conversation with the band. So maybe my expectations were too high which caused me to feel let down by the meet and greet experience. The concert was amazing but Theory of a Deadman always puts on an incredible show and we should know because we have been to five of their concerts now!

  • They put on an amazing show

by Kimmy on 11/26/24The Astro Theater - La VistaRating: 5 out of 5

I absolutely loved the show it was fantastic the only thing I had an issue with was the people standing up in front of us so we couldn't see but thankfully there were empty seats next to us so all I had to do was scoot down a couple of seats. This was one of the best concerts I have seen will definitely go and see them again when they are in my area.

  • Unplugged - More please!

by Jen H on 11/26/24The Astro Theater - La VistaRating: 5 out of 5

I toyed with not going to this concert since I’ve seen Theory a few times recently and was bummed when St. Asonia pulled out of the lineup. But I wanted to see Cory Marks and was intrigued by the Unplugged aspect. So glad I bought the tickets! The acoustic style really showcased the talent of each artist/band - I could have listened for much longer! Cory Marks and Theory of a Deadman were very good at engaging the audience with banter in between songs, which I also enjoyed. This was a great concert!

by Bob on 11/26/24The Astro Theater - La VistaRating: 4 out of 5

The Astro venue was very good. $5 water wasn't so good. The show was a bit more than I expected. When you hear Unplugged you think of the old MTV version. However, this version was very good. Enjoyed the show. One day someone will figure out acoustics so that you can actually hear the words being sung.

  • Such a good time

TOAD are such a fun group! Seeing the play acoustic felt like a much more intimate experience, and the banter with the crowd was straight up fun. Seeing them again next summer and I can not wait.
