It was my 1st time attending and I liked it very much. Already planning for next year
I have gone to the show for many years. Although the venue was lovely, it was impossible to key in on the breeds and breeders one wanted to visit before or after the ring. Please bring the benched show back!! In addition the food choices offered were lousy at best.
This was my first year attending the Westminster Dog Show. I would definitely attend another. Venue was perfect. Well-organized. Always something to see or do. Kudos to those who put on this great event!
The Westminster Kennel Club show offers an amazing opportunity to see 200 breeds of dogs in conformation and agility events. Whether you are a participant or a casual observer this event never disappoints.
It was so interesting to learn about all of the different breeds! The show was great, easy to navigate around. Very well done and fun, great for families.
Amazing dogs everywhere with owners being super nice about letting you pet them and about telling you all about their dogs and the show. Show is surprisingly informal about letting you wonder around the grooming and prep area. We drove and the parking was very nearby and well organized. We were only able to stay for the last day but had to leave before Best in Group and Best in Show but saw lots of Best in Breed. Lots of seating very close to the ring. Very fun experience.
Went to the show at MSG for years and it was a terrific experience. Would never go back to this one at Arthur Ashe - even if they gave free tickets and let me walk the dogs. Couldn't hear anything from first rows of the second level. It was like the sound wasn't turned on. Not an usher to be found anywhere up there, so people were sitting anywhere. Concessions were all terrible. If there was a ZERO stars option it probably would be better.
An outstanding event and alot of fun. It was great to see the dogs in person, see how the whole event unfolds. You even get to pet the dogs in person in the adjacent prep tents. Ashe Stadium is much larger than what's needed for this event, but everything was comfortable and it was easy to get seats right close to the action.
Everything was well organized. Lots of fun! Clean. Maybe need more healthier food choices but all in all I had a fantastic time. Great therapy for my anxiety and blood pressure (87/61) after attending the dog judging.
The venue was beautiful. The show was run seamlessly. There is only one Westminster and I highly recommend any dog lover to attend at least once!
I found it quite simple to share tickets with friends by sending electronically
Had a wonderful time getting to see the competition of the toy dogs, hounds, nonworking, and herding dogs. As the afternoon went on, I wanted to stay and see the Shiba Inus (that were last). Each group getting later and later than scheduled. I had to leave though because the Dalmations group took FOREVER. We had seen other groups with 20 dogs that went way faster.
This is a good venue -- sight lines, etc. were good. One suggestion -- there were two people who were supposed to keep the live crowd entertained during TV commercial breaks. Sing-a-longs, silly interviews, etc. NOT necessary -- would have preferred quiet.
really wonderful event, the luxury shuttle from parking was great! My only compl, aint not enough food or drink options. We will be back
It was a fabulous few days - incredibly well organized and everything was made easy for exhibitors and spectators alike! Class act all the way and we were thrilled to be there. Thank you WKC!!
Dog Show itself was great. However, the acoustics at Arthur Ashe were horrible. Could not understand a single word the announcer Michael Lafeve said. Had to constantly look at the monitors to see any comments about the dog being judged. Everything about the show otherwise was wonderful but the acoustics took 2 stars off it for me.
Just do the show and stop with the useless "cutsie"interviews. Came to watch tge dogs, not lidten to a church choir. This is a mega DOG SHOW not a circus. Really disappointed.
This was my second visit to the WKC show in Flushing, NY. Phenomenal experience. Great venue, well run event. A day of dogs, what more can you want!
Lots of dogs of all breeds. I like the hound dogs most!
