  • A blast from the past

    by SlimW0331 on 8/9/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I saw them back in 2005, and this brought back so many memories. Small venue, with a decent crowd gave an incredible vibe. Sean Danielsen still sounds incredible. I would definitely see him again if he comes back to town!

It was the absolute best/most amazing/#1 bucket list show I’ve ever been too. Words can’t express how great every single band was, not to mention the absolutely amazing venue was breathtaking. 10/10 will see this show when I get a chance again !!!

Smile empty soul was fantastic, but all the other bands that they had playing were horrendous.

  • Smile Empty Soul Plays w/Great Lineup.

by Phoenix21 on 11/17/12The Great Hall in Union Station - HartfordRating: 5 out of 5

Although I was disappointed that the show did not go on in The Great Hall at Union Station, It was almost better off in the bar at Up or On the Rocks. The sets were very up close and the bands could really be a part of the crowd. I've never been able to be so close! The only reason I was a little sad, but, boo hoo for me was that it was my 21st birthday so I was able to enter no problem however, my best friend who accompanied me to the show was 15 days shy of 21 so we had to fight. That issue would have been resolved had the show NOT been moved into the bar from the Great Hall. It worked out though! We both had a great time and got to meet the guys from the bands too. I have always loved SES but now, I may have a couple more bands to add to my playlist. :)
