Driving guitar solos and throbbing rhythms make up the heavy metal produced by Orlando-based metalcore outfit Trivium. Since their start in 2000, the four-member band has sold more than a million albums and toured alongside other big-ticket metal acts like Iron Maiden, As I Lay Dying and GWAR, bringing fans at venues like Fillmore (Detroit), the Buckhead Theatre and Aztec Theatre to capacity.
Their most recent effort, “Vengeance Falls,” surfaced in October 2013 and landed at No. 15 on The Billboard 200, as well as in the Top 10 on Japanese and Australian album charts. Along with a discography of six full-length records and a healthy U.S. tour history, Trivium has also handled concerts throughout Europe, Japan and Australia.
For the 2006 collection “The Crusade,” Trivium frontman Matt Heafy took a slight departure from his metalcore scream to deliver more traditional singing vocals that some compared to Metallica. That album debuted at No. 25 on The Billboard 200, and Heafy went back to his signature scream for the follow-up, 2008’s “Shogun,” and subsequent releases.
The bands were incredible. I love how intimate the venue is, very small and up close and personal we had such a great time.
This venue was amazing and all the bands KILLED IT. Only thing I would change is making the whole night last way longer. Multiple bars with amazing drinks, and tvs that showed the bands live while you went to go buy another. Loved the whole thing
What a great show! The sound and lighting effects were great!
Trivium always puts on a great show! Team them up with Beartooth and you have a crazy night! Lost my voice, sweat a ton and had a blast!
Non stop crowd surfing & non stop fun. All 3 bands came out with energy hyping up the crowd more and more. Easily one of the most electric concerts I’ve been too.
Not a big fan of all of Trivium work but I have always enjoyed there sound. They were great guitar work was phenomenal. Could have done without Beartooth, too much screaming not really any singing. But brought lots of energy to the show.
I’m not a big fan of Trivium, but they put on a decent show. I’ve been going to the Old National Centre since I was a kid. In and out of the venue in under 5 minutes. I’m upgrading to seats next time.
Yes you read that right. This was my 9th Trivium concert and I look forward to #10. They put on an incredible show and seeing them multiple times you get a nice mixture of songs off all their albums. Production continues to get bigger and better. I cant recommend them enough. Make sure you show up to participate, not just be a bystander.
Trivium sounded great live, total pros at what they do. Malevolence was the most fun band I have watched in a long time, crazy pit action. 10/10 would see both bands again
This was my first heavy metal concert, and it exceeded my expectations. On top of the venue being awesome and fitting in very well with the vibe of the music, the performers killed it. I loved getting to be close to the stage, the sound quality was perfect. The energy was crazy and I would absolutely come to this show again.
All of the acts sounded horrible. We have never encountered that at the HOB. As well as seeing Trivium before and they were amazing. So we left 2 songs in. We always get vip seating or the club access. This time we regretted spending that money and all of the drink money we spend.
Good experience and flow was quick between bands. Trivium made the show!
Trivium put on a good show but Beartooth totally killed it! Their light show for a smaller venue was really good but the stage performance of Beartooth was over the top brilliant.
Great show. Trivium was fantastic as expected. Beartooth I could have done without. But overall it was a great show.
had the best night ever, archetypes collide and malevolence were both amazing and beartooth rocked the crowd, but trivium blew the whole show out of the water, have never seen a more energetic pit.
Great small venue - Trivium was super impressive!!! Sick guitar and played more songs than I thought they would! I’m definitely going next time they come around!
Was a clean venue and Trivium rocked the house. Archetypes Collide and Malevolence were outstanding for opening acts. Was a great experience would do it again if given the opportunity. Can’t say enough how great a band Trivium are they absolutely shredded the scene.
Saw trivium and white chapel in L.A. if you haven’t seen trivium you’re missing out.. TEARS RAIN DOWN FROM THE SKY!
Saw them in Denver when they went on tour with Iron Maiden and they sounded so massive! Unforgettable experience with my son. We had a blast - just wished they played my son’s favorite song, “In Waves”. But still epic!
the band kicked ass, the venue was amazing and the show was beyond awesome for us the fans
