GAME and TweetDeck vets join Green Man Gaming

Green Man Gaming has appointed respected industry figures to its senior management team.

The new recruits comeas the UK-based digital retailer begins to expand across Europe.

The firm has signed former Metaboli and GAME exec Paul Howes as commercial director. Howes has held senior roles at Mindscape and Infogrames before joining digital specialist Metaboli as regional business director. He then moved to GAME, where he was responsible for developing the firm’s digital strategy and revenues.

Meanwhile, Robert Kinder has joined the company as head of trade marketing and e-commerce. Kinder was previously online marketing manager at Codemasters and will now oversee merchandising, marketing and social media.

Elsewhere, Callum Jay is the specialist’s new chief financial officer. Callum joins from cloud-based digital video distributor Miniweb Interactive where he was finance director. He is a veteran from the games market, having worked as head of business development at Eidos.

Finally, Lee Packham has returned to GMG as technical director. Packham worked with MD Paul Sulyok to develop the Green Man Gaming platform when it launched. He comes back to the firm following a year-long stint developing TweetDeck for Twitter.
