Hiroshi Tobisawa is the new Capcom Europe CEO

Capcom Europe has a new CEO and he starts today.

Hiroshi Tobisawa replaces former boss Kunio Neo, who has left after two years with the Resident Evil publisher.

Tobisawa has been with Capcom since 1997 and has previously served as managing corporate officer and president of Capcom USA and Europe and was most recently the director of Capcom Asia.

In his new role he will oversee all aspects of the European business.

It is with great sadness that I announce today that I am to leave Capcom,” outgoing boss Neo said. I am incredibly proud to have had the chance to work with the team at Capcom Europe over the last two years. My successor, Hiroshi Tobisawa, has a long and distinguished record working at Capcom and I look forward to seeing what the company goes on to achieve under his management.”

Tobisawa added: It is an honour to be taking over from Kunio Neo whom I would like to thank for all his efforts in recent years. I am looking forward to working with the various teams across Europe to continue to build on our success as we look to the future.”
