If you want your sound to sparkle, you can now incorporate Dolby Audio in your HTML5 and Windows Universal Platform (UWP) apps.

Dolby Digital Plus is a featured in every Windows 10 PC and tablet powered by Intel, and you can take advantage of it by simply encoding your audio in the right format.

Intel’s resource for Dolby Digital Plus reveals how you can use a free tool from Dolby to encode your audio, and includes sample code for streaming the right audio to the right browser, and using Dolby Digital in a UWP app. There’s also an example game so you can hear the sound in action.
