HBO’s premium streaming app HBO Go lands today for PS3 owners, Sony has announced.
The US PlayStation Blog has word that the app can be downloaded via PSN, adding that SCEA is "working diligently with HBO to bring the HBO Go app to PS4."
The app, which is tied to an HBO subscription, grants access to every episode of every season of the premium cable network’s shows – including True Detective, Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones.
HBO Go was originally announced for PS3 in January by HBO CEO Richard Plepler, and later confirmed as in development for PS4. The app is currently available on Xbox 360 devices as well, and is expected to arrive later this year on Xbox One.
