The list of confirmed Switch games is getting bigger, as Traveller’s Tale has announced that LEGO Worlds will be releasing on Nintendo’s new console.
Head of design Arthur Parsons announced it on Twitter, after he was asked by another user what were the LEGO plans for the Switch. Parsons answered: Currently we have announced that we are planning to release LEGO City and LEGO Worlds on Switch.” (see original Tweet below).
We don’t know if LEGO Worlds will be a launch title, though, as Parsons didn’t reveal any release date. Considering the fact that the sandbox game will be hitting shelves for PS4, Xbox One and Steam on February 24th, it could easily be a launch title for the Switch, since it launches only a couple of days lateron March 3rd. LEGO Worlds was announced in 2015 and is currently on Steam’s Early Access program.
Announcements around the Switch keep on coming following Nintendo’s big reveal two weeks ago, with games such as The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+andFire Emblem Warriors being announced, as well as Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove and Tokyo RPG Factory’s I am Setsuna.
On the other hand, a lot of studios are now having to clarify whether or not their game will be coming to Nintendo’s new platform.Gearbox has already said Borderlands 3won’t be coming to the Nintendo Switch andCapcom announced yesterday that it currently had no plans to release a Resident Evil game for Switch, either.
