Warner promotes Junge ‘to drive acquisitions’

Warner Bros has promoted the man at the centre of the group’s $49 million takeover of Midway.

Jeff Junge, who joined Warner in 2000 before becoming VP of business management, has been promoted to a snrVP role.

Warner Bros says that Junge’s promotion will see him continue to “drive mergers and acquisitions for Warner Bros Home Entertainment Group.”

The company also spoke of uniting “strategic initiatives” across all of the firm’s home entertainment divisions, including Home Video, Digital Distribution and Interactive Entertainment.

As well as driving home Warner’s Midway takeover, Junge was also helped the group acquire TellTale Games and invest in OnLive. 



Junge said he was “honoured” to be given the promotion.


“I am looking forward to this challenging opportunity to help theHome Entertainment Group enhance its operations and increase its profitability," he said.
