Warner Bros appoints new President

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment (WBIE) has named Martin Tremblay as its new president.

Tremblay will begin in his new role in July, and will report directly to president of Warner Bros’ Home Entertainment Group, Kevin Tsujihara.

In his new post, Tremblay will set the long-term direction of the division’s worldwide interactive entertainment strategy.

He will oversee publishing, marketing, sales and distribution, licensing and business development of Warner games.

"Martin is a talented, highly respected executive and has solid relationships across the industry," said Tsujihara. "In the past year, our interactive strategy has really come together and we’re extremely fortunate to have found someone with Martin’s impressive track record to now lead WBIE."

Tremblay joins WBIE from Vivendi Games, where he served as President Worldwide Studios since 2006. Under his leadership, Vivendi released acclaimed titles such as Scarface: The World is Yours, F.E.A.R and World in Conflict.

Prior to joining Vivendi in 2006, Tremblay served as president and COO at Ubisoft Montreal. During his tenure, the company grew from 350 employees to 1,500 employees.

"Warner Bros. has been creating, licensing and publishing some of the best in class interactive entertainment out there today," said Tremblay. "I look forward to working with the team of talented and creative people at WBIE to expand on the great work they are already doing."
