The final entry in Sony’s Uncharted franchise A Thief’s End has shot to the top spot in the UK charts, beating Week One sales records for the franchise.
Uncharted 4 beat launch week sales of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception by 66 per cent.
Meanwhile, the new entry in Bethesda’s Doom series charted in second place. This is the first time the shooter series launched on PS4 and Xbox One with Week One sales coming in at 67 per cent higher than Doom 3.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III holds third place with a 46 per cent decline in sales, while Sony’s Ratchet & Clank hangs in the Top Five at No.4. That games’ sales declined 50 per cent week-on-week.
Last week’s No.1, Battleborn, falls out of the Top Ten altogether to No.12 with sales plummeting75 per cent.
Ubisoft’s The Division and Far Cry Primal chart in fifth and sixth places with 32 and 33 per cent sales declines respectively.
And EA’s Star Wars Battlefront returns to the Top Ten after a two week absence – sales of the sci-fi shooter rose 28 per cent as the game hit No.10.
