God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2 triumph at The Game Awards 2018

The winners of The Games Awards’ fifth annual awards ceremony have been announced.

God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2 come out on top, with Dead Cells, Monster Hunter: World, Fortnite, Return of the Obra Dinn, Celeste, Florence, Dragon Ball FighterZ, ASTRO BOT Rescue Mission, Overcooked 2, Into the Breach, The Messenger, Forza Horizon 4, Combat 2018, and Overwatch all securing awards, too.

Fortnite streamer Ninja was honoured as 2018’s Content Creator of the Year.

The Game Awards "celebrates the best video games and esports of the year, and world premieres the most anticipated games of the future". Last month, it was announced Tencent’s senior vice president, Steven Ma was appointed to its advisory board.
