Bandai Namco has announced pre-orders for Project Cars 2 are now open for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Three different special editions will be available at launch in addition to the standard version of the game, but two of them are exclusive to certain retailers.
Starting with the Limited Edition, this will have the same RRP as the standard edition and will be available across all three platforms only from GAME. This includes the full game, a sticker sheet, steelbook, and an exclusive pack of four Japanese cars from Honda and Nissan.
The Collector’s Edition, meanwhile, will come with everything in the Limited Edition plus an eSport Live VIP pass, an art book, a 1/43 scale diecast model car of the McLaren 720S, and the season pass. This will be available at all retailers.
Lastly, the Ultra Edition will be exclusive to Amazon and will be limited to 1,000 copies. This includes everything in the Collector’s Edition, but instead of the McLaren model, fans will get a 1/12 resin McLaren 720S instead. It will also come with a signed poster (although by who is currently unknown), an individually numbered Snapback cap and an official McLaren sketchbook that follows the development of the 720S.
Project Cars 2 is currently set to launch later this year, and to celebrate the opening of Project Cars 2’s pre-orders, Bandai Namco released a new trailer featuring the McLaren 720S in action, which you can view below:
