$250,000 raised for upcoming RPG within first day on crowdfunding site

Shadowrun: Hong Kong hits Kickstarter goals in two hours

The new game from Shadowrun: Returns developer Hairbrained Schemes has smashed its crowdfunding goal within hours of going live.

The studio was asking for $100k to make Shadowrun: Hong Kong. It hit that goal in just two hours and received backing of over $250k within the first 24 hours. The game currently stands at over $345k.

Stretch goals go all the way up to $700k so there’s a way to go yet before the studio fulfils all of its ambitions for the title.
