Tom Bramwell, the editor-in-chief of games publication Eurogamer for seven years, has taken up a new role at League of Legends parent Riot Games.
Bramwell worked on Eurogamer.net at parent company Gamer Network for 15 years, more than tripling the site’s audience during his tenure, before leaving last November.
He joins Riot Games as the firm’s European head of writing, and will be working alongside the rest of the creative services team in Brighton to help ‘shape and grow’ the writing team in Europe.
Bramwell will also be working closely with Riot Games’ senior writer Jason Killingsworth.
I’m humbled and excited to serve League of Legend’s huge European fanbase,” tweeted Bramwell following the announcement (below).
