Fnatic has released its Call of Duty roster ahead of Call of Duty: WWII, and has added that they will be stepping away from competitive Call of Duty for the time being.
This means that Matthew ‘skraps’ Marshall, Gurdip ‘SunnyB’ Bains, Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren and Bradley ‘Wuskin’ Marshall will be released from the organisation and becoming a free agent again, only months after the roster was signed to Fnatic in January.
Matthew Marshall has tweeted to confirm his departure, in addition to say that he’s planning to team up with his brother Bradley ‘Wuskin’ Marshall and former Red Reserve player Sean ‘Seany’ O’Connor, along with a fourth mystery teammate that can’t yet be announced. That team is likely to make its debut in Call of Duty: WWII, and they’re currently still looking for an organisation.

The team was Fnatic’s first in Call of Duty for five years, and expectations were high, especially with veteran COD player Trewren captaining the team. However, the team were unable to make any grand final events, before finishing off the season with a top 16 placing in the Call of Duty World League Championship. While the team certainly weren’t performing poorly, it seems they didn’t have the immediate results that Fnatic wanted, and now the organisation is departing Call of Duty again.
