Fnatic announce Dylan Falco as new coach

Fnatic have announced Dylan Falco as their new coach for the upcoming EU LCS Summer Split.

Falco is a known quantity in League of Legends, with experience at some of the top NA League of Legends organisations, with stints with EnVyUs, Immortals and Team Solo Mid. Fnatic opted for Falco after trying out several different potential clients during Fnatics recent stint in Seoul, Korea.

In an announcement, Fnatic praised Falco’s “wide pool of experience” and said that the coach had “great pedigree.” Falco is well-known for coaching the Immortals during a debut year for the organisation when they lost just three matches across both Spring and Summer splits.

“We feel that with his approach and understanding of the game, we are in more than safe hands as we look to build on our 3rd place in Spring,” said Fnatic.

Falco comes from EnVyUs to replace Nicholas ‘NicoThePico’ Korsgård, who left Fnatic in March, citing internal challenges. In the meantime, Finlay ‘Quaye’ Stewart, Fnatic’s team manager, had been filling in as a coach on an interim basis.

Riot have signed off on the deal, which will bring Falco to Fnatic through the next three splits, with the contract ending in November 2018. With the Summer Split due to start soon, Falco’s visa is currently still pending.
