A retail listing on Amazon France has hinted at a PC version of fighting game Injustice 2.
The listing that appeared is for the Injustice 2 Deluxe Edition, and gives no further information on a potential release date. It lists the game as a Windows version of the PS4 and Xbox One brawler. Game Mania has also listed the game for the PC.
However, Amazon France is not a wholly reputable source and previously listed a copy of PS4 exclusive Bloodborne, which still hasn’t launched on the PlayStation 4. However, Injustice 2 has been well regarded as a fighter, and a PC launch would make a lot of sense to enhance the audience for the game.
However, Netherrealms last three fighting games, Mortal Kombat 9, Injustice: Gods Among Us and Mortal Kombat 10 were all imperfect ports, with the latter title known for poor performance, poor support and awful netcode.
Warner Brothers have had plenty of PC disasters of their own, too. Batman: Arkham Knight’s PC port was completely broken, to the point that WB issued refunds to affected customers. Injustice 2 was well received when it launched back in May, and a Deluxe Edition will no doubt ship with the extra characters and content dropped into the game since launch.
Hopefully we’ll find out more on a future PC port in the near future.
