Days after Dreamhack Montreal controversy, Vito ‘kNg’ Giuseppe returns to Brazil to resolve visa issues

Just days after he ignited controversy at Dreamhack Montreal by tweeting a death threat at a fellow player, it’s been revealed Immortals AWPer Vito ‘kNg’ Giuseppe will miss the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier group stage.

Giuseppe is returning to Brazil due to a visa issue, and he’ll need to apply for a new P-1 visa while still based in his home country. The P-1 visa is for professional athletes, and will allow him to be based in the U.S.

Replacing the 22-year old is Raphael ‘cogu’ Camargo, a 32-year old famous in the Counter-Strike community, and largely regarded as one of the very best CS 1.6 players. They’ll need his talent, the team are in Group B of the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier, where they’ll need to square off against mousesports, Fnatic and North, who beat them out to lift the trophy at Dreamhack Montreal this weekend.

There’s been rumours of a split in Immortals since August, with claims at the time stating that Giuseppe and twins Lucas ‘LUCAS1’ Teles, Henrique ‘HEN1’ Teles were looking to depart the organisation. The three are the group that were late for their matches on the final day of Dreamhack Montreal, something which led to them forfeiting a match and turning the final best of three into a single match.

This started the string of events that led to the death threat from Guiseppe. So news that he is taking a break to go back to Brazil and get things in order is good news, taking him out of the spotlight for a little while.
