Riot Games reveals the 24 teams competing at LoL Worlds

The teams appeared at this years League of Legends Worlds World Championship has come to a close, with the North American and European League of Legends championship series taking place over the weekend, finalising the 24 teams that’ll be competing at Worlds.

Worlds has grown from 16 to 24 teams this year, as every major and minor region will be represented at the game’s biggest yearly event. 12 teams will enter the play-in stage, with the top four teams moving on to join the 12 teams that have already qualified for the group stage.

The group draw for the Worlds tournament is occurring later today. It’s explained in a lot of detail on the LolEsports website.
