“We need to keep up the pace, and make sure no one can keep us with us.” said Dob ‘Quackniix’ Engstrom in a press conference at Dreamhack moments after Fnatic beat Team Dignitas 4-3 in a best of 7 series to win the Mid-Season Brawl of the Heroes of the Storm Global Championship.
Fnatic have said that complacency isn’t an issue. “Whenever a new meta launches, we’re always fast to get to grips with it,” said Engstrom. ”We just need to make sure that the skill gap between the lower skilled EU teams and us stays the same, and as they get better, we get better.”
The newest patch launched on Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 and will probably be used in HGC matches soon. Fnatic have revealed that outside of travelling home on Tuesday, they’ll have just a one day break before immediately getting back into practice for the HGC, with games resuming on the 26 June.
“We’ll have to fit an entire summer break into one and a half days, but I think we’ll manage,” laughed Filip ‘Smexy’ Liljeström.
