The ‘Presented by Humble Bundle’ label is to showcase five of its upcoming indie titles at Gamescom and PAX West this year.
Humble Bundle’s publishing label will present four of its previously announced games and reveal a new title. Available to play on the show floor at Gamescom later this month will be Gears for Breakfast’s 3D platformer A Hat in Time (pictured), ZA/UM’s isometric RPG No Truce With The Furies, Plukit’s farming sim Staxel and Triband’s funny adventure title Keyboard Sports – Saving QWERTY. All these titles are due to release between Q4 2017 and early 2018. On top of this will be the additional ‘kind of a big deal’ yet-to-be-announced game,” Humble Bundle said.
Humble Bundle will showcase these titles in the consumer area Indie Arena Booth at Gamescom (August 23rd-26th) and at the Grand Hyatt near the Washington State Convention Center during PAX West (September 1st-2nd)
John Polson, Humble Bundle publishing lead, commented: In a relatively short time, Humble Bundle has proven itself as a major player in the highly contested digital retail space, now serving roughly 12 million customers and raising over $98m (74m) for charities.
"Already astute at helping indies find an audience for their titles through our platform, adding our approachable publishing initiative was a no brainer. We’re thrilled to bring five ‘Presented by Humble Bundle’ games to Gamescom and PAX West – gamers from around the world are in for a treat!”
Humble Bundle introduced its new publishing label in February this year, after launching its development branch in February 2016.
