MCV is moving on – with a proposed acquisition by Datateam

Today we can announce that MCV is in the process of being acquired by the Datateam Media Group, a specialist publisher in the B2B space. The acquisition is due to complete in early January.

The plan is for all MCV staff to transfer over to the new business, and myself and the team are looking forward to working with our new colleagues. At present, out of respect for TUPE regulations, we can’t go into further detail about the change.

However, for MCV it’s certainly business as usual. We’ll continue to operate our monthly magazine, our full lineup of events, the website and our social channels. Although, it’s worth noting here that we’ll be off for the Christmas break from the 21st of December to the 2nd of January.

And we’re very much looking forward to the new year! With new studio-led sections in the magazine, an expanded recruitment section, broader distribution across key European events, a refocused subscriber base that better reflects today’s industry, plus some key new partnerships, and much more besides, it’s going to be a great 2019 for the brand.

More on all that when you receive our first issue of the year in early February.

If you have any queries at all about the change, or you just want to talk about our new initiatives for 2019, then please feel free to contact me directly on seth.barton@futurenet.com or call me on +44 (0)20 3871 7388.
