London institution lauds efforts to bring academia and industry together

University of Greenwich joins Tiga

The University of Greenwich has joined Tiga.

The facility, which offers batchelor’s degrees in Games Technology, Games and Multimedia Technology, and Computing with Games Development, is joining to make use of Tiga’s Education Exchange programme.

“We support Tiga’s efforts in bring academia and industry together through the ‘Education Exchange’ initiative," said Ryan Flynn, principal lecturer in games and multimedia technologies. "We hope to forge even stronger links with industry to ensure our students have the best possible chance of enjoying a successful career after they graduate.”

Tiga CEO Richard Wilson added: “We encourage our members to reach out to those universities, like Greenwich, who have joined Tiga, and to contribute their knowledge and expertise to the degree process. By working together we can ensure UK industry has access to highly skilled quality graduates.”
