The computer graphics industry is gearing up for a busy time at Siggraph, which takes place in San Diego this coming August – and Oxford-based animation technology company NaturalMotion will be in attendance to demonstrate its tools.
Morpheme 1.1 is the latest version of the company’s animation engine which designed to give animators unprecedented creative control over the look of their animations in-game, by allowing them to author and preview blending, transitions and compressions in real time.
The company will also be demoing Euphoria, the run-time animation technology being used by LucasArts and Rockstar in upcoming games, and 3D character animation software Endorphin.
Siggraph consists of a week-long conference, exhibition and job fair for all those in the computer animation industry running from August 5th to August 9th. The games-focused Siggraph Sandbox Symposium takes place from August 4th to 5th.
