Creat Studios focusing on digital downloads

Creat Studios, the team behind PSP shooter Coded Arms: Contagion and the recent Aqua Teen Hunger Force Zombie Ninja Pro-Am, has been officially crowned as a PlayStation Network publisher and confirmed that it is looking to bring both its own titles and those of other studios to the PS3 network next year.

Next-Gen

also reports that the company is looking to move into both Xbox Live Arcade and WiiWare publishing at some stage further down the line.

Digital distribution is a key component in our strategy of becoming a global leader in creating and providing interactive entertainment,” CEO Vladimir Starzhevsky stated.

Director of business development Matt Sughrue added: Our longer range plans would be to develop content for XBLA and Wiiware as well. We’ve developed many games for Sony platforms, and we have a good working relationship with SCEA and SCEE, so starting our publishing initiative with PlayStation Network was a natural step for us in the short term.”
