Smash Cops devs brings Peter Hansen-Chambers and Ian Griffiths into the fold

Hutch hires former Lionhead and Codemasters staff

Mobile game studio Hutch has hired two experienced members of the UK games industry.

Peter Hansen-Chambers joins as commercial director after seven years at Codemasters. During his time at the racing developer, he was director of licensing and played a vital part in securing the Formula One licence. He will be tasked with assisting in the further growth of Hutch’s business.

Meanwhile, Ian Griffiths joins as product owner. He previously served as product manager at both EA Playfish and Lionhead Studios, with 12 years of industry experience under his belt. He has worked on free-to-play titles since 2008, and designed Microsoft UK Studios’ analytical tools during his stint at Lionhead.

Hutch was founded in 2011 and has since attracted 90m players with its mobile games such as Smash Cops, Smash Bandits and MMX Racing. It has offices in London and Brighton.
