Publisher Deep Silver has confirmed that it is to change the Dead Island logo that will appear on the front of the game’s box when it is released later this year.
IGN reports that the North American SKU will not feature the zombie hanging from a tree that has been present in all the press material distributed so far. Instead, a walking zombie will appear in place of the ‘I’ in Island.
No changes are planned for the European version, however.
The game has been flying under the radar fro some time until the release of its debut trailer caused somewhat of a stir last month.
