BioWare’s Harris quits the games industry

The editor for franchises including Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Guild Wars and Gears of War is to leave games development completely.

Cameron Harris has been at BioWare since late 2013, working on titles such as Dragon Age: Inquisition and upcoming sci-fi sequel Mass Effect: Andromeda.

I’ve decided to exit the video game industry to return to Seattle for new opportunities there,” Harris tweeted. I had a great time at BioWare, working with so many talented, passionate folks. I’m grateful for everything you taught me over the years.”

Harris’ departure followsthat of lead writer David Gaiderin January.
