The Amazon GameDev team will be hosting an entire day’s worth of content dedicated to its newly unveiled game engine during this month’s Game Developers Conference.
Amazon Lumberyard was unveiled last month, is based on Crytek’s CryEngine and built with PC, PS4 and Xbox One titles in mine. It’s free to developers and integrates with both Twitch and Amazon Web Services.
Devs will be able to learn more about this and GameLift – Amazon’s new tech that allows studios to operate online titles – at the new Lumberyard Track during GDC. This will take place in Moscone West’s Room 2000 on Tuesday, March 15th and runs from 10am to 5pm.
The schedule includes sessions on HDR rendering in Lumberyard, building cloud-connected games, developing with Twitch streamers in mind, and more.
You can find the full list of sessions at the Amazon GameDev Blog.
