There are a total of 18 awards up for grabs across four categories (see full list below) and readers have until May 14th to let us know if they think the work done by their studio (or, indeed, any studio in the UK or Europe) should be considered as a finalist.
This is completely free. Interested parties should send an email with their suggestions through to Develop editor Michael.French@intentmedia.co.uk.
Once the Develop team has decided the finalists, based on the soundings and suggestions from the games industry, a panel of almost 100 games development execs will vote on who should win. Finalists are announced in the June issue of Develop, out on June 8th, and here on www.developmag.com on the same day.
Winners are revealed at an event taking place on July 25th at the Hilton Metropole hotel in Brighton. Now in its fifth year, the Develop Awards have come a key event in the industry calendar, rewarding and acknowledging the games development sector’s best creative, technical and business achievements in the past year.
Last year’s event was a sell-out success, with over 400 senior executives from games development companies around the world in attendance. If you’d like to book your place, email Kathryn.Humphrey@bhpr.co.uk
