BAFTA Breakthrough Brit Henry Hoffman joins Reality Clash

One of this year’s BAFTA Breakthrough Brit winners, Henry Hoffman, has joined up with AR developer Reality Gaming Group.

The group has recently completed a successful ICO (Initial Coin Offering), which gave the developer a $3.5 million cash injection. Now, Hoffman will join up to help work with lead developer Paul Mottram and executive producer Ben Hebb to work on the Reality Clash.

Hoffman was the lead developer for Hue with Fiddlesticks Games, which earned him a place with 2017’s BAFTA Breakthrough Brit and Fiddlesticks won a Develop Award for Micro/Start Up Studio. The Reality Clash game uses cryptocurrency and real-life locations to create an AR multiplayer combat experience.

“I’m delighted to be joining a great team to work on one of the most ambitious mobile games projects to date – I can’t wait to get started,” Hoffman said. “As soon as I heard that Reality Clash combined AR, crypto and multiplayer I knew it was a game I wanted to be part of. It’s going to bring the world of crypto and gaming together in a way that’s never been attempted before.”

“We were absolutely thrilled with the level of participation in the Reality Clash ICO, and now we’re even more excited to embark on the next stage of that journey – the expansion of our development team as we work towards delivering what is a hugely exciting project," said Reality Gaming Group CEO, Tony Pearce We’re privileged to have a talent like Henry as part of the team.”
