Former Dignitas CS:GO team signs with FC Copenhagen’s new eSports division

At the end of 2016 it was revealed that Dignitas’ highly successful CS:GO team would not be resigning with the organisation. We now know where that team has ended up, and it’s a bit of a surprise.

Rumours speculated that the team would sign with Danish football club FC Copenhagen, which is technically the case. What many didn’t expect was that the team would be playing under a new organisation, ran by the club, called North.

The helpful video below shows off the new organization’s branding and goes through the team, which remains unchanged from the Dignitas days.

North is seemingly going to be the eSports arm of FC Copenhagen, and you can probably expect them to sign a few more teams or players over the coming months. The org did say at a press conference that they probably wouldn’t be looking to enter League of Legends, due to the current LCS structure.
