The First Hour will return to Ginx TV next week for the first episode in the new series.
Overwatch will be the focus of the return broadcast, which will take place at 8pm (UK time) on Thursday 16th February, with hosts Adam Savage and Anthony Richardson playing through, as you may have guessed, the first hour of the game.
Each week the pair will return to play an hour of other games, and with Ginx’s switch to eSports the majority will be eSports focused. The following three episodes will feature Battlefield 1, FIFA 17 and Heroes of the Storm.
About the new season, Adam Savage commented: “Having hosted the four previous series of The First Hour, I’m super-excited at the re-commission of the show! I can’t wait to get my hands on Battlefield 1 and FIFA 17: now I can finally show Ant how it’s done!”
Anthony Richardson added: “It’s been amazing to work on the bigger, better set and scale of The First Hour. The show’s like Adam’s feet: growing everyday, a true wonder.”
