Early Bird tickets now available for the Develop:Star Awards

Tandem Events has announced Early Bird tickets are now available for the Develop:Star Awards.

The Develop:Star Awards will take place on July 10th, at the Hilton Brighton Metropole, Brighton, during Develop:Brighton 2019, the three-day conference and expo running from Tuesday 9th to Thursday 11th July, 2019, at the Hilton Brighton Metropole. The Awards “recognise the very best of the game development community” and celebrate the achievements of developers and success of their games across 15 categories. One ultimate Develop Star award will be given to an “extraordinary game developer” for outstanding achievement and contribution to the industry.

Early Bird discounts are available for tables of 10 guests for the Develop:Star Awards, individual tickets, and a special Micro Indie ticket for development studios with less than four employees. The rates are valid until 5 June and offer savings of up to £300 – for more, or to secure your tickets now, head to the Develop:Star Awards website.

Amongst the ticket options – tables, individual tickets, and micro indie tickets – are a limited number of premium tables, too, offering an upgraded drinks package, company branding, and prime seating near the stage. Tandem warns these exclusive tables are expected to sell out soon. All tickets include an invitation to the drinks reception, dinner, and After Party.

“The Develop:Star Awards are all about celebrating the game development community, so I’m especially proud to offer our Micro Indie ticket for this year’s event,” said Andy Lane, managing director of Tandem Events. “Our Premium tables also offer a fantastic deal for larger groups, so don’t miss out!”

Rebellion founders Jason and Chris Kingsley are the first keynote speakers announced for Develop:Brighton later this year. Titled “Rebellion: The Path to Independence”, the keynote will take place on the final day of the conference on Thursday, July 11th. In a “fireside chat”, the brothers will discuss Rebellion’s 26-year history as an independent studio as well as its ownership of comic brand 2000 AD. The pair will also reflect upon Rebellion’s new $100 million film and television studio, too.
