Announcing MCV’s partnership with the Italian Video Game Awards

The Italian games industry is going from strength to strength and MCV is delighted to be partnering with AESVI and the Italian Video Game Awards to help in its quest for global expansion. The awards take place on March 14th in Milan and we’ll be there to talk to the winners about the future of the Italian games industry.

We’ll also be sponsoring some awards giving special recognition to individuals and development studios in the Italian games industry. Twenty awards total will be handed out on the night at the Teatro Vetra, an impressive venue in the heart of Milan.

A full list of nominees can be found on the official website, including the Best Italian Game and Best Italian Debut Game awards, which are bound to be the highlights of the evening.

“The Italian games industry has long fostered links with studios across Europe, but this year’s Italian Video Game Awards is the first time we’ve used the awards to publicly indicate our intent to work more closely with our brothers and sisters across the world,” says Thalita Malago, AESVI’s general secretary.
