Multiplay Events launches new rental arm

The UK’s leading games events company Multiplay Events has launched a brand-new hardware rental arm to help other organisations get the kit they need to put on large-scale events.

Dubbed Multiplay Rentals, the company now offers a full range of services to facilitate large scale events, including hardware rental and event logistics to broadcast solutions and event management.

Andy Smith, director of events at Multiplay, commented: This new investment in our events division makes Multiplay one of the only event rental companies that offers a fully integrated package as owners, organisers and hardware providers of major UK events.

"This means that we have a unique understanding of the needs of other events owners who may be looking for both general and specialised hardware. We look forward to embarking on more partnerships with event organisers to deliver more world-class events.”

Multiplay Events has over two decades of experience putting on events, with its own Insomnia festival now the UK’s biggest gaming convention. Multiplay has also produced Minecraft convention MineCon since 2012 and recently acquired the license to run BrickLive, the UK’s biggest LEGO fan event.

Multiplay also recently announced that its digital server business had gained another top client in the form of Ready At Dawn’s Deformers, having previously hosted Respawn’s Titanfall 2 and Tripwire Interactive’s Killing Floor 2 last year.
