Microsoft’s Roger Walkden among 30 speakers at Future Games Summit 2016

Roger Walkden, the Senior Director and Commercial Lead of HoloLens at Microsoft EMEA will deliver one of the keynote speeches at next month’s Future Games Summit.

Two other keynote speakers have also been confirmed – Hachette’sBrand Development DirectorDamian Horner and Superdata’sCEO and Co-FounderJoost van Dreunen.

They join a line-up of over 30 speakers that includesJo Twist (UKIE), Simon Byron (Curve), James Dean (ESL), Simon Gardner (Climax), Rob Crossley (Creative England), Imre Jele (Bossa), Tanya Laird (Digital Jam), David Yarnton (Gfinity), Paul Sulyok (GMG) and Charleyy Hodson (Ginx, Sky). Organised by MCV parent NewBay Media, the Future Games Summit will take place and London’s Millennium Mayfair Hotel and runs from Wednesday, November 23rd to Thursday, November 24th.

The two-day programme aims to cover as much of the games industry as possible, identifying trends that will shape interactive entertainment in the coming years.

The first day will cover: investment and finance, virtual reality, augmented reality, mobile games and monetization, serious and beneficial games, industry inclusiveness, the role of games in the UK economy, and the influencers of the future.

Day Two, meanwhile, will be dedicated entirely to eSports, covering regulation, analytics, and the role brands and traditional publishers can plan in eSports. The event follows the debut of NewBay’s eSports Industry Awards on Monday, November 21st.
